[Registration Open] Monthly Meetup for Sep 2017 – Internet of Things The future of Technology


The Cloud Power and ASP.NET Community, technical Community of Microsoft have been organizing a series of Workshops and Events every month.

We have scheduled three hours community Event at Prime College on Sep  15, 2017, as monthly Event for the month of Sep

We have Maulik Taranga as technical partner for the event. Likewise, Prime College has supported us by providing Venue for the event.

About Event

Event Name: Internet of Things | The future of Technology

Target Audience: CSIT and Engineering Students. (other also can join)

Tentative Participants: 40-45

Cost for Participation: Free

Date:  15th Sep 2017 (Time yet to be decided, probably 11 AM to 2:00 PM)

Objectives of Event:

  • To encourage students to learn and develop solutions to real-time problems.
  • Bridging gap between students and industries.
  • Gain and Develop knowledge both in Software and Hardware Platform.

The event is divided into four Modules.

Module I: Technical Introduction to Internet of Things

Speaker: Edward Basnet (Firmware and Hardware Developer)

Time: 45 min.

Edward Basnet working as Firmware and Hardware Developer at Maulik Taranga will be talking about IoT, how it works, its modules and its real-time Implementation. He will be sharing his experiences of developing real-time solutions ranging from Security Devices to Geo Positioning Real-Time Tracking System.

Module II: Challenges and Opportunities in IoT

Speaker: Aasish Poudel

Time: 30 min.

Aasish Poudel, CEO of Maulik Taranga will be talking about Challenges and Opportunities of IoT in Nepal. He will be showcasing some of the products developed to motivate students.

Module III : Demo and Show Case Hardware Projects developed in Nepal

Speaker: Ankur Poudel/Oasis Poudel/Mahesh Dahal

Time: 30 minutes

Demo Vehicle Tacking System, Melo and Real Time Tracking Devices designed for Mountaineers, Weather Station Project and others. 

Closing: Overall Closing.

Duration: 10-15 minutes

Speaker: Sachin Jung Karki

He will share his experiences related with IOT and others.
